Dear All,
I have here posted some of the pictures taken on Last Ekadasi day. Ekasdasi is so so special for us . we will fast on Ekadasi with restricted diet prasadam and feast on the sumptous nectarean divine darshan of our beautiful deties at our humble home temple .We perform thirumanjanam for the divine couples on Ekadahsi with milk, tulasi water ,curd honey etc. But I always stick to milk and tulasi water for thirumanjanam at any cost. I will give holy bath with flower petals,Honey ,lemon,coconut water and Yogurt along with milk and holy tulasi water on special occasions..
While writing this post , this thought occurred to me that I must do my thirumanjanam with even more sincerity at least sticking to at least four kinds of Holy baths to the divine thambadhilu.
After the thirumanjanam, The deities will be dressed in different alankaram . You won’t feel like eating anything on that day . A simple and devoted glance at their divine lordships with their beautiful fresh alankaram is a big feast worth waiting for.. Still there will be their wonderful prasadam to quench our appetite. I normally prepare neivedyam or holy bhojanam for the divine couple with dried fruits, fresh fruits, greens and salads, yogurt,milk, butter, saffron milk , etc. I avoid using grains, pulses and some vegetables as well in prasadam preparation as we fast on that day. We can offer anything to Sri Govinda as He is never on any diet 
So sometimes I feel like cooking them some rice, sambar , curries etc along with usual ekadashi prasadam for the entire family. We honour the grains and pulse based prasadam on Dwadasi day along with grand Dwadasi prasadam . Double treat !!!!!
Here is a simple and humble Ekadasi celebration at home.
First you are viewing the deities in the temple with previous day alankaram.
Then Thirumanjanam with milk. My mother is giving them palabishekam(Abishekam with milk) singing nice south indian bajanas.
Then Deities are giving divine dharshan with Ekadasi alankaram.
Then simple ekadashi feast to the divine couples.
May the mercy of Lord Krishna shower on all of us to get rid of loga maya and get back to Him soooooooon….

As usual , I am ending this post with my humble prayer desiring to serve His Lotus Feet.
In Past, I used to be a soul of this and that ..
Never was I genuinely happy and fully content
Now that I am at His sheltering lovely lotus feet
At last I am at great comfort in His divine Nest !
He is the ultimate home where I come from..
He is the eternal abode where I am going to..
This earth is the boat that takes me across
The ocean of samsara to The banks of Vaikunta !
Boomi is my loving mother, not a curse or Maya
Who provides two supreme rows to steer the boat !
Clutching Love with left, Devotion with my right hand
Rowing am I the boat singing the glories of Supreme Lord !
Not a cyclone of mind boggling threefold miseries
Nor a storm of multitudes of assorted religious faiths
Can change the Destination of my devoted journey
For the Path is entirely shielded by Lord Vamana’s feet!
Now I happily row my boat serving Only His lotus feet
For I have no fear of being toppled down or infinitely lost ,
As I am in the safe lap of a compassionate divine mother
Who is secured by the palatial nose of the transcendental boar!
